FAT32 Format (GUIFormat) can revitalize your old PC, enabling it to finally start handling FAT32-formatted hard drives of large sizes. Be aware that older versions such as Windows 9x/Me are NOT supported. The app is optimized for all modern GUI versions of Windows OS (7, Vista, 8, and 10) and can also be run on several older versions (Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003 and Vista). In addition to formatting internal hard drives, this app can format drives connected with all the major internal and external interfaces - IDE/PATA, SATA, eSATA, USB, and Firewire. Even though it can handle very large hard drivers, the entire procedure of formatting them is quick and can usually last under a few minutes. The format procedure can be initiated with or without a “quick” option (a service that will detect and try to repair any bad sectors) by simply clicking on the “Start” button on the bottom of the app. The UI consists of a drive selector dropdown menu, allocation unit size selector, and a simple text field for typing in a Volume label. Your drive should be formatted in a few seconds! FAT32 Format for PC comes in a small package and presents to the user only a single small window where the format procedure can be initiated. It will ask you if you want to allow it to have (Admin) access to your computer. Windows will ask you if you want to run the file. To repeat once more, the FAT32 Format desktop app is unsuitable and cannot be used on modern SSD hard drives. The largest officially tested drive clocked in at the incredible 2TB in size! It does that by focusing on 512-kbyte sectors, and therefore it can be used only on traditional spinning hard drivers. While the original limitation of the FAT32 file system on old versions of 16bit Microsoft Windows OS is set at just 32GB or 137GB in size, GUIFormat can easily format drives of size 250GB or even larger. Thanks.FAT32 Format GUI is a lightweight hard drive utility that can move past the limitations of the original FAT32 file system and reformat spinning hard drives no matter of their size. I created one partition of 30gb to see if it would show up, which it did but my problem is that I need more than 30gb to back up my data and EVEN AFTER creating a second partition of 30gb FAT32, only the first partition shoes up. I created a separate partition amounting to roughly 30gb on my hard external hard drive after watching a YT video in which the user said that the PlayStation will only recognize separate amounts of 30gb each. I would like to create a disk to use as much Space of the 500gb as I need after converting to FAT32 but the problem I am running into is that I can only seem to get my PlayStation to recognize about 30gb of space. I do know that the drive has to be formatted to FAT32 in order for the PlayStation to recognize the storage. I am trying to format a 500gb external hard drive to use in conjunction with my Sony PlayStation 3 console in order to back up my data from the console. I have watched various YT videos prior to reaching out here but am having some difficulties with this. Hopefully this is the right forum to post my question so here goes!
